Plant HR Manager
supports HR functions for plant employees in Minnesota.
Responsibilities
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition : Manage hiring for corporate roles, especially managerial and professional positions.
Employee Relations & Compliance : Act as a resource for employee questions, coach managers, handle disciplinary actions, and conduct investigations.
Training & Development : Lead onboarding, orientation, and training programs.
HR Operations : Manage benefits, timekeeping, HRIS updates, and confidential employee records.
Policy & Legal Compliance : Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and update policies accordingly.
Event Coordination : Support employee events such as picnics and holiday celebrations.
Corporate & Global Support : Assist with broader HR initiatives and projects.
Key Requirements
Experience : Minimum 3 years in HR; manufacturing experience preferred.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
Skills :
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work independently or in teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); Adobe PDF is a plus
Familiarity with HRIS systems and employment law
High level of professionalism and confidentiality
Physical & Work Environment
Regular use of phone, email, video, and office equipment
Walking throughout the facility
Occasional lifting (20–40 lbs)
Travel to other local sites as needed
Moderate noise level due to proximity to manufacturing floor
