This role is a contract assignment at Palo Alto Networks. Contractors will not be employed by Palo Alto Networks but through our trusted staffing partners. We are looking for a dynamic, organized, and creative Events Manager who is passionate about events in this ever-changing environment with a focus on innovation and delivery of attendee experiences as guiding principles. In this contract role, you will be responsible for managing events in the Palo Alto Networks portfolio, specifically third-party industry events and proprietary events. The ability to travel 40-50% is essential for this role. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in event planning and engagement marketing. This role requires a forward‑thinking individual with proven event planning, analytical, and communication skills. This role will report to the Sr. Global Events Manager at Palo Alto Networks. Location

- Santa Clara, CA (Hybrid - 3X to office) Duration

- 12 months Key Responsibilities

Support and lead the planning and execution of 13+ events annually across Industry and Proprietary categories. Design, implement, and monitor events designed to promote brand, influence pipeline, and generate net‑new logos. Drive logistical needs in support of events including, owning and assigning workstream leaders and recruiting cross‑functional support. Manage these workstreams and ensure they are delivering to targets on tactical tasks by leading planning meetings, submitting Asana tickets, and creating/owning a workback plan. Own budget management (including requesting purchase orders, tracking spend, mapping expenses). Manage creation, production, and distribution of event marketing deliverables and track their success. Be on‑site at events to provide operational support (registration desk, booth staffing, etc). Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. 6-8 years experience in corporate events. Software/Cybersecurity marketing experience preferred. High technological literacy and comfort with AI solutions. Demonstrated ability to work effectively under a minimum amount of supervision. Experience managing budgets and invoices. Experience working with agency partners. Excellent written and verbal skills. Creative, collaborative, and resourceful. Proven passion for learning and growth. Compensation

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer, the pay range is $60/hour to $65/hour.
