Responsibilities
Layout and design of HVAC systems
Develop design criteria for HVAC systems, including comfort heating and cooling, temperature/humidity control, pressurization, and clean room cleanliness requirements
Create conceptual and preliminary design documents, including sizing calculations, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements
Prepare final design documents with specifications, sequences of operation, duct/piping layouts, and construction documents for chilled water, cooling water, and other systems
Coordinate with other disciplines to meet client needs
Qualifications
Professional Engineering License
At least ten (10) years of experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities
Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC design
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Adaptability to work within a fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines
Ability to lead a building mechanical team on a project and collaborate with remote discipline team members
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
Software experience in Revit, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D
Experience in the design of plumbing/utility systems
