Join Jacobs as a Senior Plumbing Engineer. This role focuses on designing, sizing, and documenting plumbing systems for heavy industrial projects across specialty chemical, electric vehicle, and manufacturing markets.
Base Pay Range $102,900.00/yr - $135,075.00/yr
Responsibilities
Develop design criteria and layout for plumbing systems including sanitary sewer, process sewer, potable water, hot water, natural gas, and roof drainage.
Prepare final design documents and specifications for plumbing systems.
Coordinate with other disciplines and vendors throughout the design process.
Ensure schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks while meeting client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
Qualifications
Professional Engineering License.
At least eight (8) years’ experience in the design of plumbing systems.
Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to plumbing system design.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Adaptability to work within a fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
Ability to collaborate with remote discipline team members.
Ideal Additional Experience
Revit software experience.
Experience designing utility piping systems.
