CORPORATE BANKING - CREDIT ANALYST II
Position Summary
The Corporate Banking Credit Analyst primarily focuses on credit analysis, underwriting and ongoing review of Corporate, Middle Market, Project Finance and Commercial Real Estate loans. The analyst must be a team player, communicate and collaborate with Lending Officers, Credit Officers and Committee members, and strive to achieve outstanding customer service in accordance with the Bank’s standards and competencies.
Essential Functions
Underwrite and analyze Corporate, Middle Market, Project Finance and Commercial Real‑Estate loans to determine feasibility and credit risk.
Prepare Green Light and Credit Approval Memorandums (CAMs) for presentation to applicable approval authority committees, including existing loans, new potential loans, annual reviews, waivers, amendments and other requirements.
Evaluate and review loan information such as financial statements, financial models, lender presentations, public filings, data rooms, diligence reports, appraisal reports and supporting documentation.
Ensure loan packages comply with credit, underwriting standards and lending/credit policies.
Anticipate questions/topics for credit committee members, address them with the Relationship Manager, and be prepared to discuss them at committee meetings.
Present loan files to the Corporate Banking Department and Credit Department, including recommendations to management and/or the credit committee, and inform teams of any material risk factors, discrepancies or deviations discovered during the CAM preparation or review.
Maintain continuous contact with RMs, Agent Bank and customers as needed to provide updates, resolve problems and address concerns.
Assist the Corporate Banking Department with loan policies and procedures, quality control matters, loan review and underwriting.
Help prepare Corporate Banking presentations.
Monitor portfolio financial performance, complete waivers and amendments, and assist with quarterly and other reporting.
Participate in Corporate Banking pipeline meetings and in sourcing new deals from banks or customers.
Manage internal and client deadlines.

Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment Work is performed in a bank environment. Employees are exposed to external elements when representing the corporation at external events and may be required to work extended hours, including holidays, should these coincide with company events.

Regularly required to sit, stand, walk and/or maneuver around the office.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Required Education and Experience
Minimum of two years in a banking environment and/or credit field.
Project Finance background experience required.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and proficient typing skills.
Understanding of financial information and loan documentation.
Must be able to work a flexible working schedule.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business Administration or related field.
