CORPORATE BANKING - CREDIT ANALYST II
Position Summary
The Corporate Banking Credit Analyst primarily focuses on credit analysis, underwriting, and ongoing review of the following types of loans: Corporate, Middle Market, Project Finance, & Commercial Real Estate. This role requires strong teamwork and the ability to communicate and collaborate with Lending Officers, Credit Officers, and committee members. A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service in accordance with Bank standards and competencies is essential.
Essential Functions
Responsible for underwriting and credit analysis of Corporate, Middle Market, Project Finance, & Commercial Real‑Estate loans, determining feasibility and credit risk.
Prepare Green Light and Credit Approval Memorandums (CAMs) for presentation to the appropriate approval authority committee, covering existing loans, new potential loans, annual reviews, waivers, amendments, and other required submissions.
Underwrite and analyze loans by evaluating financial statements, financial models, lender presentations/decks, public filings, data rooms, diligence reports, appraisal reports, and other supporting documentation.
Ensure loan packages comply with credit underwriting standards and lending/credit policies.
Pro‑actively anticipate questions/topics that credit committee members will focus on, address them alongside the Relationship Manager, and prepare to discuss them with the committee.
Present the loan file to the Corporate Banking Department and Credit Department for discussion and conclusion, including department recommendations to management or the credit committee. Communicate any material risk factors, discrepancies, or deviations discovered during the preparation and review of the CAM, underwriting, credit analysis, and due diligence.
Maintain continuous contact with RMs, Agent Banks, and customers as needed for transaction status, discrepancies, and problem resolution.
Assist the Corporate Banking Department with loan policies and procedures, quality control matters, loan review, and underwriting.
Assist in preparing Corporate Banking presentations.
Support monitoring of portfolio financial performance, complete waivers and amendments, assist with quarterly and other reporting, and participate in pipeline meetings.
Participate in sourcing new deals received from banks or customers.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and proficiency in typing.
Understanding of financial information and loan documentation.
Must be able to work a flexible working schedule.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business Administration or related field.
