Position Summary Lead federal program development and oversight. This Director provides direction and oversight of the specific federal program(s), manages staff, develops program implementation, and monitors the project budget.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a field directly related to the program responsibilities and seven years of experience; or a Master’s degree and five years of experience.

Criminal History Background Check - Level 1.

Criminal History Background Check - Level 2.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Education or related field.

Three years of administrative experience.

Administrative and grant management experience.

Responsibilities

Lead federal program development and oversight, including developing and reviewing program applications and amendments, establishing a budget, and facilitating collection and review of data to improve outcomes annually.

Manage the Migrant Student Information Exchange (MSIX) system and provide technical assistance to stakeholders regarding the MSIX system.

Monitor school district compliance with federal program requirements, facilitate review of applications, develop annual compliance monitoring activities, and perform real-time monitoring and reporting requirements.

Facilitate and provide training, technical assistance, guidance, and support to FDOE and school district personnel on grant management and compliance with federal and state rules and regulations.

Supervise and manage federal program staff, directing operation, management and hiring of staff, completing performance appraisals and developing work plans.

Perform other duties as assigned.
