Advance Auto Parts . Job Description Professional level sales position supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. Responsible for profitable growth via customer retention and expansion. Partners with GM to manage team members. Requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, sourcing from various channels including special orders, FDO, and second sources. Must be able to direct drivers for timely, accurate deliveries. This is a full-time position. Primary Responsibilities: Maintain commercial customer relationships Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives Support day-to-day supervision of team members Collaborate with GM on coaching and development Dispatch drivers to meet delivery standards Maintain commercial stock levels Build and sustain a network of second source suppliers Secondary Responsibilities: Maintain core bank and commercial returns Manage commercial credit accounts Partner with GM to ensure driver coverage Success Factors include: Friendly communication Parts locating and stocking skills Safety awareness Proficiency with inventory systems and store equipment Automotive system knowledge POS and parts lookup system operation ASE P2 certification or equivalent Solution and product recommendation skills Ability to source from multiple channels Advanced selling skills for commercial clients Multi-tasking and organizational skills Essential Skills: Knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics Effective communication in English (Spanish a plus) Ability to interpret safety, operating, and parts manuals Complete Parts Knowledge Assessment successfully Basic math proficiency Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Strong organizational skills Understanding of commercial profitability and market dynamics Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends Prior Experience: Minimum 3 years in automotive parts preferred, with proven sales ability and team leadership experience. Education: High school diploma or GED required. Certificates: ASE certification preferred but not required. Physical Demands & Work Environment: Primarily walking or standing, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Work indoors and outdoors, exposed to weather and mechanical hazards. Moderate noise level. Position eligible for sales commissions based on performance. Compensation Range:
