Job Description
Professional level sales position capable of supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. The role is responsible for profitable growth of the commercial business via customer retention and growth. It partners with the GM to manage Team Members and requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts. The role involves sourcing from various channels including special orders, FDO, second sources, etc., and directing drivers to ensure timely and accurate delivery. This is a full-time position. Primary Responsibilities
Maintain commercial customer relationships Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives Support Team Members' daily activities and collaborate with the GM on coaching and development Dispatch drivers to meet delivery standards Maintain commercial stocking programs Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain core bank and commercial returns Manage commercial credit accounts Partner with the GM to ensure proper driver coverage Success Factors
Friendly communication skills Ability to locate and stock parts efficiently Knowledge of safety procedures Proficiency with inventory systems and store equipment Parts and automotive system knowledge Use of POS and parts lookup systems ASE P2 certification or equivalent Advanced solution, project, and product recommendation skills Ability to source from multiple channels Advanced selling skills for commercial customers Multi-tasking and organizational skills Essential Job Skills
Knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics Effective communication in English (Spanish a plus) Ability to interpret safety rules, manuals, and catalogs Completion of Parts Knowledge Assessment Basic math skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Strong organizational skills Understanding of commercial profitability concepts Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends Prior Experience
Minimum of 3 years automotive parts experience preferred; proven sales ability; team leadership experience, including supervision and goal achievement. Education
High school diploma or GED required. Certificates and Licenses
ASE Certification preferred but not required. Physical Demands
Must be able to walk, stand, lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally, with good vision and dexterity. Work Environment
Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor tasks, exposure to weather, mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise. Position is eligible for sales commissions based on performance. Compensation Range
$21.95 - $24.15 per hour Benefits
