Job Description Professional level sales position capable of supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. The role is responsible for profitable growth of the commercial business via customer retention and growth. It partners with the GM to manage Team Members and requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts. The role involves sourcing from various channels including special orders, FDO, second sources, etc., and directing drivers to ensure timely and accurate delivery. This is a full-time position.
Primary Responsibilities
Maintain commercial customer relationships
Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
Support Team Members daily and collaborate with GM on coaching and development
Dispatch drivers to meet delivery standards
Maintain commercial stocking programs
Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers
Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain core bank and commercial returns
Manage commercial credit accounts
Partner with GM for driver coverage

Effective communication in English (Spanish a plus)
Ability to interpret safety rules, manuals, parts catalogs
Complete Parts Knowledge Assessment successfully
Basic math skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong organizational skills
Understanding of commercial profitability concepts
Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends
Prior Experience Minimum of 3 years of automotive parts experience preferred, with proven sales ability and team leadership experience.
Education High school diploma or GED required.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations ASE Certification preferred but not required.
Physical Demands Requires walking, standing, talking, hearing, handling, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Must lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Visual abilities include close, distance, color, and depth perception.
Work Environment Primarily indoor work; occasional outdoor work in various weather conditions. Exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, electrical shocks, explosives, vibration, and moderate noise levels.
Position is eligible for sales commission based on performance.
Compensation Range $21.95 to $24.15 per hour
