Job Description Professional level sales position capable of supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. The role is responsible for profitable growth of the commercial business via customer retention and growth. It partners with the GM to manage Team Members and requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts. The role involves sourcing from various channels including special orders, FDO, second sources, etc., and directing drivers to ensure timely and accurate delivery. This is a full-time position.
Primary Responsibilities
Maintain commercial customer relationships
Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
Support day-to-day supervision of Team Members
Collaborate with GM on coaching and development of Team Members
Dispatch drivers to ensure delivery standards are met
Maintain commercial stocking programs
Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers
Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain core bank and commercial returns
Manage commercial credit accounts
Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage
Success Factors

Ability to locate and stock parts efficiently
Safety knowledge and skills
Proficiency with inventory systems and store equipment
Parts and automotive system knowledge
Experience with POS and parts lookup systems
ASE P2 certification or equivalent
Advanced solution, project, and product recommendation skills
Ability to source parts from multiple channels
Advanced selling skills for commercial customers
Multi-tasking and organizational skills
Essential Job Skills
Knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic abilities
Effective communication in English (Spanish is a plus)
Ability to interpret safety rules, manuals, and catalogs
Completion of Parts Knowledge Assessment
Basic math skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong organizational skills
Understanding of commercial profitability concepts
Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends
Prior Experience Minimum of 3 years in automotive parts sales preferred. Proven sales ability and team leadership experience are advantageous.
Education High school diploma or GED required.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations ASE Certification preferred but not required.
Physical Demands Requires walking, standing, talking, hearing, and manual dexterity. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Work Environment Primarily indoors, with occasional outdoor work exposed to various weather conditions and potential hazards.
Position is eligible for sales commission based on performance.
Compensation Range $21.95 - $24.15 per hour
