Job Description Professional level sales position supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. Responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and acquisition. Partners with GM to manage team members. Requires expert automotive system and parts knowledge, sourcing from various channels including special orders, FDO, and second sources. Must direct drivers for timely and accurate delivery. Position is full-time.
Primary Responsibilities
Maintain commercial customer relationships
Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
Support and supervise team members daily
Collaborate with GM on coaching and development
Dispatch drivers to ensure delivery standards
Maintain commercial stocking programs
Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers
Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain core bank and commercial returns
Manage commercial credit accounts
Partner with GM for driver coverage

POS and parts lookup proficiency
ASE P2 certification or equivalent

Essential Job Skills
Automotive diagnostic knowledge (engine, suspension, brakes, etc.)
English proficiency; Spanish a plus
Ability to interpret safety and operational documents
Complete Parts Knowledge Assessment
Basic math skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong organizational skills
Understanding of commercial profitability and market dynamics
Flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
Prior Experience Minimum 3 years in automotive parts sales preferred. Proven sales and team supervision experience.
Education High school diploma or GED required.
Certificates ASE Certification preferred but not required.
Physical Demands Must be able to walk, stand, lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Must have good vision and dexterity.
Work Environment Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise expected.
Position eligible for sales commissions. Compensation ranges from $21.95 to $24.15 per hour.
