Advance Auto Parts . This is a professional-level sales position supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. The role is responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and expansion, partnering with the GM to manage team members. It requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, sourcing from various channels including special orders, FDO, and second sources. The role also involves directing drivers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. This is a full-time position. Primary Responsibilities
Maintain commercial customer relationships Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives Support daily supervision of team members Collaborate with GM on coaching and development Dispatch drivers to meet delivery standards Maintain commercial stock levels Build and sustain a network of second source suppliers Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain core bank and commercial returns Manage commercial credit accounts Partner with GM for driver coverage Success Factors
Friendly communication Parts location and stocking skills Safety knowledge Operating inventory systems and store equipment Parts and automotive system expertise Proficiency with POS and parts lookup systems ASE P2 certification or equivalent Advanced solution and project recommendation skills Ability to source parts through various channels Advanced selling skills for commercial clients Multi-tasking and organizational skills Essential Job Skills
Knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics Effective communication in English (Spanish a plus) Ability to interpret safety and operational documents Complete Parts Knowledge Assessment successfully Basic math skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Strong organizational skills Understanding of commercial profitability concepts Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends Experience & Education
Minimum of 3 years automotive parts experience preferred. Proven sales ability and team leadership experience are advantageous. High school diploma or GED required. ASE certification is preferred but not mandatory. Physical & Work Environment
Must be able to walk, stand, lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Work may involve outside exposure and various physical demands. The environment is usually indoor, with occasional outdoor tasks in weather conditions. Exposure to moving parts, chemicals, and noise may occur. This position is eligible for sales commissions based on performance. Compensation ranges from $19.95 to $21.95 per hour. Benefits information is available at
