Professional level sales position supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. Responsible for profitable growth via customer retention and expansion. Partners with GM to manage Team Members. Requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, sourcing from various channels including special orders, FDO, and second sources. Must direct drivers for timely, accurate delivery. Full-time position. Primary Responsibilities
Maintain commercial customer relationships Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives Support Team Members daily and collaborate with GM on coaching and development Dispatch drivers to ensure delivery standards Maintain commercial stocking programs Build and sustain a network of second source suppliers Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain core bank and commercial returns Manage commercial credit accounts Partner with GM for driver coverage Success Factors
Friendly communication Parts locating and stocking skills Safety knowledge Inventory systems operation Parts and automotive system knowledge POS and parts lookup system proficiency ASE P2 certification or equivalent Solution and project recommendation skills Ability to source from multiple channels Advanced selling skills for commercial clients Multi-tasking and organizational skills Essential Job Skills
Automotive systems knowledge and diagnostic skills Effective communication in English; Spanish a plus Ability to interpret safety and operational documents Complete Parts Knowledge Assessment successfully Basic math skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Strong organizational skills Understanding of commercial profitability and market dynamics Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends Prior Experience
Minimum 3 years in automotive parts sales preferred. Proven sales and team leadership experience. Education
High school diploma or GED required. Certificates
ASE Certification preferred but not required. Physical Demands
Walking, standing, lifting up to 50-100 pounds, and other physical activities required, with or without accommodation. Work Environment
Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor tasks under various weather conditions. Exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise typical of retail automotive environments. Position eligible for sales commission. Compensation: $19.95 - $21.95/hour. Benefits info at
