Professional level sales position supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. Responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and expansion. Partners with GM to manage team members. Requires expert automotive system and parts knowledge, sourcing from various channels including special orders, FDO, and second sources. Must direct drivers to ensure timely, accurate deliveries. This is a full-time position. Primary Responsibilities
Maintain commercial customer relationships Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives Support daily supervision of team members Collaborate with GM on coaching and development Dispatch drivers to meet delivery standards Maintain commercial stocking programs Build and sustain a network of second source suppliers Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain core bank and commercial returns Manage commercial credit accounts Partner with GM for driver coverage Success Factors
Friendly communication Parts locating and stocking skills Safety knowledge Inventory and store equipment operation Parts and automotive system expertise Proficiency with POS and parts lookup systems ASE P2 certification or equivalent Solution and project recommendation skills Ability to source from multiple channels Advanced selling skills for commercial customers Multi-tasking and organizational skills Essential Job Skills
Automotive systems knowledge and diagnostic skills English proficiency; Spanish a plus Ability to interpret safety, operating, and parts manuals Effective written and oral communication Completion of Parts Knowledge Assessment Basic math skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Strong organizational skills Understanding of profitability and market dynamics Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends Prior Experience
Minimum 3 years in automotive parts preferred. Proven sales ability and team leadership experience are advantageous. Education
High school diploma or GED required. Certificates
ASE Certification preferred but not required. Physical Demands
Primarily walking or standing; ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Must have good vision and dexterity. Work Environment
Mostly indoor work; occasional outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise at moderate levels. Position is eligible for sales commissions based on performance. Compensation Range
$19.95 - $21.95 per hour Benefits
