We are looking for a dedicated Radiology CT Technologist who will provide high quality patient care in a fast paced environment. Successful candidates will have a genuine passion for imaging, strong technical skills, and the ability to work well in a team.
Responsibilities
Explain imaging procedures to patients and family members prior to and during examinations.
Acquire accurate images of the correct anatomical area according to departmental protocols.
Perform complex CT procedures, including age‑related criteria and developmental considerations.
Process and manipulate images, analyze image quality, troubleshoot and repeat procedures as necessary.
Correctly send and transfer images to PACS.
Assess and recognize the patient’s emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive and psychosocial conditions.
Administer contrast media and other medications in accordance with medication administration guidelines.
Maintain a clean and sanitary examination room, including suction, oxygen, supplies, and equipment between patients.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology (required) or Associate Degree (preferred).
1 year radiologic technologist experience without ARRT‑CT (required) or no experience with ARRT‑CT (required).
ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) (required) and ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT) (required).
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care (required).
Basic technical proficiency, strong communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a patient‑centered environment.
