Our client is an AAHA‑accredited small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital is dedicated to delivering compassionate, high‑quality veterinary care in a collaborative and supportive environment. The practice currently serves canine and feline patients and has plans to expand to include a small percentage of exotic cases in the future.
The hospital is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, with the practice closed on Sundays. The Associate Veterinarian role is offered on a full‑time basis, typically over a four‑day work week with 1–2 half‑day Saturdays per month, supporting a strong work‑life balance.
Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide preventative and diagnostic care, including wellness exams, vaccinations, dental cleanings, and spay/neuter surgeries, as well as managing sick or injured pets. Responsibilities also include performing soft tissue surgeries, delivering internal medicine support, and collaborating with the team in areas such as dermatology, nutrition, and palliative care. Clear communication with clients is essential to provide education and build long‑term relationships. The position is open to experienced veterinarians. Team
