$20,000 sign-on bonus
for eligible applicants! This posting reflects an opening for a CT Technologist I, with consideration for higher levels such as CT Technologist II based on skills and experience. We encourage all qualified individuals to apply. This position is unionized. Under general supervision of the Radiologist, performs CT procedures to acquire digital images for diagnosis and treatment. Plans and executes procedures using advanced technology, ensuring protocols are based on clinical guidelines and patient safety standards. Responsible for providing care for patients across various age ranges and ensuring dose data is properly managed. Job Duties Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems to acquire diagnostic images. Maintain knowledge of different CT systems at multiple locations. Follow protocols based on Image Gently Guidelines, monitor dose data, and notify when preset levels are exceeded. Understand clinical histories and major organ systems to select appropriate protocols. Ensure proper patient preparation, positioning, and safety measures. Perform CT interventional procedures and advanced CTA imaging. Maintain knowledge of pharmacology and physiology to optimize scan quality and safety. Work is performed in a clinical environment, adhering to organizational policies. Additional competencies will be outlined during department-specific orientation.
