The actual hourly salary within this range that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors. This role will remain open until filled. Responsibilities

Where state and federal laws/regulations allow, perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities; ensure an efficient pharmacy workflow and a positive patient experience; serve as a full-time certified pharmacy technician where applicable. Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, supervise pharmacy technicians and pharmacy cashiers within the guidelines of authorized company policies, laws, regulations and business ethics. Select, schedule, and develop pharmacy technician personnel. Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians. Make decisions regarding performance management including discipline and termination. Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolve complaints and respond to requests to ensure a positive customer experience; model and share customer service best practices. Assist pharmacist in the delivery of patient care including patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting, and verification where allowed by law; complete patient and physician calls under pharmacist supervision; participate in healthcare service offerings including vaccines and health screenings where allowed by law. Delegate, direct, and assign non-clinical work in the pharmacy within company policies, state and federal laws; ensure on-time task completion and maintain efficient workflow. Prepare and file reports and records for the company and government agencies; manage core pharmacy workflow and daily schedule; ensure the pharmacy is stocked and orderly; manage inventory tasks that do not require pharmacist licensure. Drive new technology/process rollouts, champion change, and engage the team around action planning; maintain equipment operation and security safeguards in collaboration with the Pharmacy Manager. Adhere to Walgreens policy regarding Good Faith Dispensing; communicate prescription errors; participate in Continuous Quality Improvement. Monitor inventory and asset protection; support diversion monitoring and report concerns; ensure accurate processing of insurance claims and follow-up with payers and providers as needed. Assist and support Store Manager and Pharmacy Manager in analyzing and improving pharmacy financials, operational quality, and customer service. Coordinate Community Outreach Portal activities; assign pharmacists to off-site immunization clinics and community events; build relationships with retail partnerships. People & Performance Management

Lead performance management of technicians, including discipline and termination decisions; apply constructive discipline as required; hold technicians accountable for attendance and timeliness; drive engagement and performance improvement. Hire, on-board, train, and schedule technicians; monitor training completion and enforce policies for scheduling and training. Identify gaps in operation knowledge and support team members with hands-on training or learning modules. Monitor licensures/certifications for pharmacy staff to ensure active status and compliance with regulatory requirements; document licensure status using Walgreens resources. Ensure procedures for recruitment, record retention, and training comply with company policy and legal requirements. Training & Personal Development

Maintain PTCB certification and any required state certifications/registrations; pursue ongoing knowledge in pharmacy and healthcare. Obtain necessary certifications and training as required by the Company; participate in performance improvement plans as directed by the Pharmacy Manager. Seek professional development, solicit feedback, and leverage mentors and coaching resources. Communication

Communicate with the pharmacy team and relay messages from support centers or other key emails; participate in store/pharmacy meetings and regular check-ins with the Store Manager. Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico). One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting. Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy and Health System Pharmacy locations). Preferred Qualifications

Previous people management/leadership experience. Previous Walgreens experience with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation.
