Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and meeting sales targets within a designated territory in the Carolinas/Mid-Atlantic region. This is a field-based role that requires frequent travel to meet with clients and prospects face-to-face. You will be responsible for selling a range of marine parts, paints, and accessories. The ideal candidate will have strong sales experience, excellent customer service skills, and a solid understanding of marine equipment and boating culture.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.

Conduct in-person meetings, product presentations, and demonstrations.

Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.

Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and contracts.

Track sales activities and customer interactions using CRM software.

Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Stay up to date on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activities.

Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, customer service) to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven sales experience in outside sales (marine or related industries preferred).

Strong knowledge of boats, marine equipment, and boating terminology.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.

Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
