Our GPS-FAAS team is growing, and as a Senior Manager you will play a key role across Federal GPS sector service lines, developing strategic goals and delivering exceptional client experiences by listening to and understanding client needs. Your Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong client relationships; assess client satisfaction and maintain ongoing contact. Direct field work, inform supervisors of engagement status, and manage assurance staff performance. Demonstrate thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations. Develop people by delegating tasks and guiding assurance staff; provide performance feedback and reviews. Contribute ideas to assurance teams and encourage collaboration across service lines. Foster an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment. Use technology to learn, share knowledge, and enhance service delivery. Understand EY’s service lines and encourage contribution of ideas to apply firm services. Skills and attributes for success
Excellent project management, communication, and negotiation skills; collaborative leadership. Proven track record of mentoring and improving a high-performing team. Integrity and dedication to teamwork; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Willingness to travel as needed; work may occur at client, EY, or contractor sites. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business; 7 years of post-baccalaureate experience with Federal US GAAP. U.S. CPA license in your work state. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership capabilities. Willingness to travel approximately 25%–30% or more in a hybrid environment.
