Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions/concerns, assist with gaming needs, inform guests of promotions, and promote loyalty programs; circulate throughout the store to prioritize guests over tasks. Support the total shopping environment, including visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and guest relationships that lead to sales and repeat business. Process guest purchases/returns using the POS system; ensure accurate transactions and high-quality guest service. Respond to guest comments or questions in person or on the phone; escalate issues to the Store Manager as needed. Promote GameStop benefits (e.g., reservations program, trade-in program, Pro Rewards). Assist the Store Manager with setting guest service expectations and training store associates; monitor performance and provide feedback. Ensure associates complete onboarding, training, and compliance prior to opening or closing shifts; supervise inventory control, safety, and ethical responsibilities. Schedule associates, manage breaks, and maintain staffing to ensure optimal guest service; supervise in the Store Manager’s absence. Approve payroll and manage timekeeping, ensuring accurate pay for time worked. Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and proper merchandising; ensure fixtures and equipment are in working order. Fulfill Omni-Channel orders and communicate any issues to the Store Manager. Protect company assets through inventory control and loss prevention practices; report concerns to the Store Manager. Achieve sales, profit, and shrink goals and complete required administrative duties. Conduct inventory counts, stock/restock merchandise, and ensure products are represented and organized on the sales floor. Reconcile daily transactions; manage cash and deposits according to guidelines. Verify shipments, conduct inventories, and communicate discrepancies to leadership. Process defectives/recalls and stock pulls accurately; label boxes with packing lists. Maintain associate and guest safety; address hazards and report injuries per guidelines. Maintain neat store records/files and ensure manuals are up to date. Supervise and delegate tasks to Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the Store Manager’s absence. Qualifications

Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States; at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business/marketing/merchandising preferred. Retail management experience: at least 6 months preferred; retail sales/guest service/management experience: at least 2 years preferred. Video game knowledge preferred. Key Skills and Abilities

Outgoing, welcoming personality with strong people skills. Clear verbal and written communication; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; work independently and in a team. Meet performance expectations, including attendance and safety; operate POS system and perform basic math. Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays (minimum 3 days/week). Ability to work for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs; physically capable of standing and moving throughout the store. Onboarding to understand company policies, safety, and ethical responsibilities; knowledge of military ranks (where applicable) is a plus.
