Overview
Copier Account Executive (Executive, Technical Sales) for the Mid-West region at Canon U.S.A., Inc. The role involves developing strategies to increase sales with key decision-makers in the Dealer Sales Channel and end users, promoting strong business relationships with assigned dealers and their branches, while maintaining the highest ethical standards. The position requires effective communication with Fortune 500 level executives to present high-level sales strategies, ROI analyses, and technical workflow solutions, as well as providing technical expertise to assist dealers and customers in selecting hardware and software solutions. Additional responsibilities include managing dealer accounts and territories, coordinating product launches and updates, organizing events and tradeshows, and applying professional expertise to resolve routine issues within company policies.
This position is full time and is considered virtual. The office will be open 5 days a week; however you will not be required to report to the office unless there is a specific business need. Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.
Your Impact
Develop strategies to increase sales with key decision makers in the Dealer Sales Channel and with End Users; promotes the business relationship between the company and assigned dealers and/or offices.
Communicate effectively with Fortune 500 customers including CEOs, CIOs, and CFOs, presenting high-level sales strategies, ROI, and technical workflow analysis.
Assist the Dealer Sales Channel and End User Customers with technical knowledge for detailed analysis and recommended hardware and software solutions.
Manage Dealer Sales Channel accounts, territories, marketing program implementation, education, and other channel-related support.
Conduct high-level introductory sales calls; provide retail sales channel proposal development and bid support.
Coordinate and implement product launches and equipment/software updates with the Dealer Sales Channel.
Manage coordination of certain events/tradeshows.
Operate as a mid-level professional applying company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues; develop professional expertise and working knowledge of Canon products and services.
About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience; 3-5 years of related experience.
Experience with copier sales / A3 market required.
BD2B retail sales and/or customer-facing experience in copier dealer, copier manufacturer environment preferred.
Experience selling directly to end users is required.
CompTIA CDIA/CDIA+ and Network+ certifications are a plus.
5+ years in sales/sales support and industry-related experience.
Travel of over 75% or more in the Mid-West is expected for this position.
Remote/homet office-based role near a major metropolitan city/airport; overnight travel as needed.
Valid state driver’s license required; driving may be necessary for company business.
Salary range: $69,300 - $103,770 annually. Role eligible for commissions under applicable plan.
