Overview
GM and Food (General Merchandise, Closing, Fulfillment, Inbound, Food and Beverage) (T2810) role at Target. This position involves supporting store processes to enable a consistent guest experience, including inbound/outbound, replenishment, pricing, and fulfillment tasks. Responsibilities
Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks and assist guests to resolve their needs. Assist with receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas. Operate power equipment if certified to move merchandise or store fixtures. Execute pricing changes, merchandise setup and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed. Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability. Be knowledgeable about resources, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve their experience. Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards. Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (e.g., picking/packing orders or delivering pickup orders) while complying with applicable laws. Open to flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and other peak times. Willingness to learn through training; basic skills include welcoming attitude, clear communication, ability to work independently and on a team, and attention to detail. Ability to handle cash register operations as needed; ability to climb ladders and lift/move merchandise up to 44 pounds (with or without assistance).
