Overview
GM and Food (General Merchandise, Closing, Fulfillment, Inbound, Food and Beverage) — T1422. This role is part of Target's General Merchandise and Food Sales team, focusing on inbound, outbound, replenishment, pricing, and promotional signing processes across GM areas of the store. It includes support for pick, pack and ship fulfillment and maintaining inventory accuracy, set-up, and signage. Responsibilities
Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks and assisting guests to solve their needs. Receive products, restock shelves, organize the backroom, arrange merchandise, and put up promotional signs for GM areas. Operate certified power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures where required. Execute pricing changes, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed by leadership. Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability. Be knowledgeable about store resources, products, and services to resolve guest issues and improve the shopping experience. Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards. Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (picking/packing orders, delivering pickup orders) and comply with applicable laws.
