POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is the primary resource for operational functions associated with driving revenue and margin for the Cuisinart business across Walmart and Sam’s accounts. Key functions include demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, POS & trend analysis, creative asset liaison/PDP support, item maintenance and setup, daily monitoring of overall business trends and operational performance. The role works cross-functionally with other Cuisinart teams and with direct account contacts to communicate and act on business issues in a timely manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Become a leading resource on customer-specific needs and requirements while providing timely communication to both the account and company, ensuring needs of both are met
Collaborate with demand and sales planning teams on forecasting, inventory planning, and order planning
Coordinate with Operations and Warehouse teams to allocate inventory to proper warehouses to maximize sales opportunities and turnover
Input the forecast in the IBP system and update the planning team on additions or adjustments
Perform item setup, maintenance and management across multiple customer accounts
Ensure assigned accounts are up to date with pricing changes
Work with Operations and Customer Service to assist with order management and ensure customer compliance standards are met
Lead periodic meetings with customers’ replenishment teams to review results and confirm changes impact sales
Assist Sales partners with annual budget planning and monthly reconciliations
Coordinate domestic/import orders with supply chain planning and availability dates
Collaborate with Sales and Accounting on monthly/quarterly vendor income true-ups
Coordinate monthly vendor income collection with retail partners
Partner with the Sales Director and Account Managers to coordinate monthly business reviews, weekly flash reports and the monthly results deck
Track sales performance against promotional expectations and help formulate future shipment plans
Provide monthly financial updates and conduct in-depth analyses of key operational/sales metrics
Create ad hoc reports based on current and future business needs
Develop working knowledge of the assigned business from product and consumer perspectives, including competitive context
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3-5 years of experience in forecasting/budgeting and demand planning with analytics/financial responsibilities in the consumer products industry
Experience in Ecommerce, SAP, site merchandising, and working within Walmart and Sam’s vendor portals is required. Experience in Marketplace and WFS ecosystems is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to derive insights from multiple complex data sets and apply them to decision making
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
Working conditions are normal for an office environment
Must be able to sit for extended periods
Must be able to use a computer keyboard and monitor for extended periods
Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business
