Job Description:
Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced ITSM Consultant to join our team. The ITSM consultant will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations of IT service management in different organizations. Her main focus will be to identify gaps, evaluate the performance of ITSM processes and provide strategic recommendations to improve efficiency and quality of service.
Responsibilities
Carry out complete assessments of IT service management in client organizations, using recognized methodologies and best practices.
Assess the maturity of ITSM processes, including incident, problem, change, configuration, release, and knowledge management.
Collect and analyze relevant information, such as process documentation, policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
Identify gaps and areas for improvement in ITSM processes and propose recommendations to optimize efficiency and service quality.
Evaluate the technological infrastructure used to support ITSM processes, including tools and systems used.
Conduct interviews with key personnel and conduct surveys to understand current practices and gather feedback on process performance.
Prepare detailed reports of the assessments carried out, documenting the findings, recommendations, and proposed action plans.
Collaborate closely with IT management teams and stakeholders to implement recommendations and ensure continuous improvement of service management.
Stay current on ITSM trends and best practices, and share knowledge and experience with the team.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT service management-related roles, such as ITSM consultant, ITSM analyst, or similar roles.
Deep knowledge of ITSM principles and best practices, such as ITIL, COBIT, and ISO 20000, among others.
Experience in conducting IT service management assessments and evaluations, with the ability to identify gaps and recommend solutions.
Must possess strong Process Documentation experience.
Solid knowledge of tools and technologies used in ITSM, such as ticket management systems, monitoring tools, configuration management tools, etc.
Strong analytical skills and ability to collect, analyze and synthesize complex data into clear and concise reports and recommendations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
Relevant ITSM certifications, such as ITIL Foundation, will be highly valued.
Ability to work independently and in a team, demonstrating initiative, proactivity, and problem-solving skills.
