Overview
Accounts Receivable Analyst at University of California, Riverside. This role supports the Finance & Administration unit of the School of Medicine by handling various financial transactions and ensuring internal controls for depositing SOM revenue. Responsibilities
Assist with financial transactions including expense cost transfers, cash receipts recording, budget entries, data reconciliation and review. Follow procedures to maintain internal controls for depositing SOM revenue and review monthly reconciliation for deposits. Process corrections for any payment errors and run monthly general ledger reports to analyze revenue from the prior month. Contact partners to notify them of past due invoices and run regular and ad hoc reports as needed. Support related financial processes as required by the department. Compensation
The full salary range for the Accounts Receivable Analyst position is $66,878.64 - $97,760.60 annually. The expected pay scale for this position is up to $80,993.52 annually. Salary offers are based on education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qualifications
Educational Requirements Degree: Bachelor’s degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Master’s degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training (preferred). Experience 2 - 4 years of related experience (preferred). Minimum Requirements Skills to provide coaching and mentoring to support staff; strong knowledge of internal control practices; strong financial data management and reporting skills; excellent interpersonal, analytical, verbal and written communication; ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment; sound judgment and decision making; ability to adapt to changing priorities and function effectively as a team member; proficiency in spreadsheets and databases; working knowledge of financial processes, policies, and procedures.
