Overview

EY is seeking a Senior Manager for Government & Public Sector - Financial Accounting Advisory Services (GPS-FAAS). The role involves working across Federal GPS sector service lines, developing strategic goals, and delivering exceptional client experiences through collaborative, innovative solutions. Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to projects across GPS service lines; think on your feet and challenge existing practices to address complex issues. Collaborate with colleagues across service lines; build relationships and identify opportunities to apply EY’s knowledge to benefit clients. Travel regularly to meet with key clients, including some of the most respected organizations in their fields. Direct field work, inform supervisors of engagement status, and manage assurance staff performance. Develop people through delegation, training, and performance reviews; provide constructive feedback and foster a team-oriented environment. Apply a strong understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts to client situations; use technology to enhance knowledge sharing and service delivery. Develop an understanding of EY’s service lines and encourage contribution of ideas to apply firm services where appropriate. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business; 7+ years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience with US GAAP in Federal environments. U.S. CPA license in the relevant work state. Excellent project management, communication, and negotiation skills; a collaborative approach to leadership. Proven track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams; strong commitment to teamwork and integrity. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance; willingness to travel as required (approx. 25-30% or more in hybrid environments). Eligibility to work at client, EY, or contractor sites within a commutable distance of the work location. Preferred
