Responsibilities

Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions/concerns quickly and courteously, assist with video gaming needs, inform guests of promotions, recommend items, and foster a guest-centric environment. Support the store environment and sales initiatives, building guest relationships that lead to sales and repeat business. Process guest purchases/returns using the POS system accurately and efficiently, including receipt provision and packaging. Address guest questions in person or by phone; escalate issues to the Store Manager when appropriate. Promote GameStop guest benefits (e.g., new title reservations, trade-in program, Pro Rewards). Assist the Store Manager with setting guest service expectations and training store associates in policies and procedures. Provide feedback on associate performance and help ensure alignment with company expectations; document feedback as needed. Ensure onboarding, training, and compliance for associates prior to shifts; supervise policy, inventory control, safety, and ethical responsibilities. Assist with scheduling to meet guidelines and ensure adequate staffing for peak guest service; supervise in absence of the Store Manager. Approve payroll, manage time off requests, and verify compensation for time worked. Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandise presentation; ensure fixtures and equipment function properly. Fulfill Omni-Channel orders and ensure daily shipping. Protect assets through inventory control and loss prevention; inspect packages at closing as needed and communicate concerns to the Store Manager. Support the team in meeting sales, profit, and shrink goals and perform required administrative duties. Conduct inventory counts and restock merchandise; ensure products are represented and organized on the sales floor. Balance daily transactions in the POS system and complete closeout paperwork; manage cash and deposits per guidelines. Verify shipments for discrepancies, record variances, and conduct merchandise counts; communicate issues to management. Process defectives/recalls and stock pulls accurately with proper labeling and packing lists. Maintain guest and associate safety; report injuries per guidelines. Keep store records/files organized and help maintain up-to-date manuals. Supervise and delegate tasks to Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the Store Manager 0's absence. Adhere to GameStop policies, procedures, and the Associate Handbook; follow Code of Standards, Ethics & Conduct. Open and close procedures adherence. Qualifications

Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States; at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or bachelor 0s in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred. At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred. At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred. Video game knowledge preferred. Key Skills and Abilities

Outgoing, welcoming personality with strong people skills. Genuine, individualized guest assistance and clear communication both in person and over the phone; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, work independently and as part of a team, and meet performance expectations. Operate POS system; basic math and alphabetizing skills. Complete paperwork accurately and follow written or verbal instructions; execute financial tasks per policy. Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays; minimum 3 days/week availability. Ability to work under pressure, be a problem solver, reliable, and trustworthy. Ability to stand, move, and assist in stocking and merchandising; lift up to 30 lbs and reach heights as needed. Knowledge of military ranks and insignia where applicable to stores located on military bases. Job descriptions are subject to change based on business needs.
