Sell Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance product line to targeted goals; close sales by building rapport with key decision makers, explain corporate program and service capabilities, and overcome objections. Develop a sales plan and manage resources to maximize return on expenditures. Sell P&C products in the assigned territory; collaborate with the sales team to prospect, conquer new customers, prioritize and manage the opportunity pipeline, and formulate and execute sales strategies. Service current customers by maintaining rapport, making regular visits, evaluating needs for new opportunities, responding to requests, and establishing a customer contact cycle. Identify non-P&C opportunities, coordinate with Account Executives, identify new customers, estimate growth, and qualify prospects; stay informed on competition and market trends and participate in training and industry activities. Coordinate sales and servicing activities with National Accounts and other channel partners. Develop new customers by identifying product improvements and new products based on industry and market trends and competitors. Provide product training to other sales team members as required. Skills and Qualifications
3+ years of sales or client-facing experience required. High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree and industry designations preferred. Ability to develop business relationships with dealer principals and decision makers. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Sales training experience desired; well-developed business management, presentation and relationship selling skills. High level of accountability with the ability to prioritize tasks; strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities. Ability to function in a matrix organization; dealership operations and insurance product knowledge preferred. Proficiency with MS Office and the ability to work independently; strong customer service skills; ability to work with local markets and campaigns. Compensation and Benefits
Base pay range: $75,000 - $90,000 USD, with eligibility for incentive/bonus via a variable incentive plan. Additional compensation elements may include travel allowances, relocation assistance, a signing bonus, or equity, depending on the role.
