Position Summary

Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and maintaining in-stock inventory levels. Responsible for budgeting, forecasting sales, and assessing economic trends and community needs. Models, enforces, and guides Associates on customer service techniques to meet customer needs and resolve issues within company standards. Oversees community outreach programs and encourages associates to serve as good community members. Ensures compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards by analyzing reports, implementing asset protection measures, and conducting quality reviews. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and recognition. Ensures the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with customers, selecting appropriate products, and maintaining optical equipment. Upholds the company's open-door policy by addressing concerns, reviewing policies, and resolving issues. Develops relationships with stakeholders, supports initiatives, and promotes continuous improvement. Builds high-performing teams, embraces diversity, and fosters a workplace of belonging. Acts with integrity, maintaining high ethical standards and supporting Walmart's mission and values. The hourly wage range is $23.50-$33.50, with additional performance bonuses and potential regional pay adjustments. Minimum Qualifications

Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience including 1 year of optical experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws. Preferred Qualifications
