Overview
The Executive Assistant will provide administrative support to both the Vice President for Governmental Relations and the Senior Associate Vice President for Audit and Compliance, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across both offices. This dual-role position requires exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to manage complex schedules, communications, and priorities for two senior leaders. Responsibilities
Coordinate meetings for both offices. Prepare and review correspondence, proofread reports and presentations. Manage travel arrangements. Oversee budgets and support outreach and programming efforts. Interact frequently with internal and external stakeholders, including government officials, university leadership, and compliance partners. This position is based in Richmond, Virginia, with occasional travel to the Norfolk campus. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated ability to effectively oversee office operations and executive level support. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders, including government officials and university leadership. High attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and review. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality, safeguarding sensitive documents and/or information and exercise sound judgement. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat. Special Licenses, Registration or Certification
