Senior Manager, Program Management – Portfolio & Storytelling

This role combines portfolio leadership—orchestrating multiple cross-functional initiatives from concept through launch—with executive storytelling, shaping narratives and creating polished content that influences senior leaders. Success means delivering measurable business outcomes, improving decision velocity, and elevating communication standards across the enterprise. What You’ll Do
Portfolio & Program Leadership Design and execute portfolio operating models
:
translate strategy into detailed business plans, timelines, budgets, and success measures; manage RAID logs and governance cadences to keep initiatives on track. Drive execution of multiple concurrent business plans
:
prioritize work, allocate resources, eliminate roadblocks, and activate contingency plans to maintain momentum. Establish lightweight processes and scorecards
:
implement dashboards and collaboration tools that speed decision-making and ensure disciplined follow-up. Elevate program-management maturity
:
lead gap analyses, validate improvement opportunities, and implement streamlined processes rooted in best practices. Partner with senior leaders
:
clarify goals, success metrics, and risks; guide the organization through a disciplined program-management life cycle to surface and resolve critical issues quickly. Champion continuous improvement
:
apply structured problem analysis to uncover root causes, craft pragmatic solutions, and foster a culture of innovation and intelligent risk-taking. Storytelling & Executive Content Shape the story
:
convert complex analysis into clear, actionable narratives that drive alignment and decision-making at the executive level. Create and polish executive-ready content
:
build high-quality decks, one-pagers, and visual frameworks for senior forums. Launch and maintain a storytelling system
:
develop templates, glossaries, and style guides that standardize communication and reduce review cycles. Coach presenters and stakeholders
:
provide talk tracks, speaker notes, and influence plans to ensure clarity and confidence in delivery. Measure and improve communication impact
:
track cycle time, iteration rates, and stakeholder satisfaction to continuously refine content and processes. What You’ll Bring
Minimum Qualifications 2 years’ experience leading cross-functional teams. 3 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area.
Preferred Qualifications Managing a budget, profit and loss statement, or related financial process; Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field; PMP or equivalent certification; experience in retail, operations, or corporate strategy; advanced PowerPoint and data visualization skills.
