Job Summary: $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants! This posting reflects an opening for a CT Technologist I. We are seeking candidates for that position. Geisinger reserves the right to consider applicants for higher levels of this role, including CT Technologist II, based on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Job Duties
Provide technical expertise to operate CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems to acquire images for radiologists.
Maintain knowledge to operate different CT systems at multiple locations.
Follow protocols based on Image Gently Guidelines, including dose data management and alerts for scans exceeding preset levels.
Understand clinical histories and major organ and vascular systems to match protocols.
Obtain CT images according to established protocols, ensuring patient preparation, positioning, immobilization, shielding, and correct technical factors.
Perform CT interventional procedures and advanced CTA imaging, including TAVR, EVAR, and cardiac imaging.
Maintain knowledge of pharmacology, physiology, and physics to ensure quality scans and patient safety.
Interpret technical factors to optimize scan quality and efficiency.
Work Environment and Additional Information Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. The role requires compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Additional competencies may be outlined in department-specific orientations.

Qualifications
Graduate from Specialty Training Program (Required)
Basic Life Support Certification
Certified Radiology Technologist (ARRT) within 12 months
