What the Role Looks Like This seasonal position is for an experienced tax professional who will serve clients with diverse tax needs. You will work with an expert team that provides advanced tax training and the support needed to be successful.
Responsibilities
Conduct tax interviews with clients face‑to‑face and through virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email).
Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for individuals, trusts, and partnerships.
Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
Provide IRS support to clients and ensure compliance with IRS and state requirements.
Mentor and support teammates in a fast‑paced environment.
Complete H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
Use virtual tools effectively and communicate clearly in person, via phone, and in writing.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
CPA or Enrolled Agent certification (preferred).
5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax.
Experience completing complex individual, trust, and partnership returns.
Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
Experience with tax planning, audit support, and sales/marketing (preferred).
Must meet all IRS and applicable state requirements.
High school diploma or equivalent (minimum).
