About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their mission-driven organization. The CFO will be a key leader in strategic initiatives for sustainability, innovation, and data-driven efforts. This role is pivotal in overseeing and managing financial matters, investments, and information systems, and will work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure that the organization's financial operations align with its mission of community strengthening through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring monthly financial operations, preparing analyses and reports, and providing guidance to executive and operating staff. They will also be involved in securing and allocating resources to achieve strategic objectives, developing and maintaining internal control systems, and leading efforts to modify or redesign business models as necessary.

Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or equivalent, with an MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred. A minimum of 8 years' experience in accounting and fiscal management is required, with a background in voluntary or nonprofit organizations being beneficial. The role demands a strong understanding of general business matters, including budget development, financial reporting, GAAP, cash management, and financial nonprofit laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and developing a strong staff team, as well as a commitment to diversity, inclusion, access, and equity. Additionally, the CFO will be expected to have experience with investment management and asset allocation, and the ability to effectively engage with a wide range of stakeholders, from the Board of Directors to direct staff.
