Overview
Invoicing and Operations Specialist (Hybrid Option) – California Department of Health Care Services. This role focuses on the Invoicing & Operations Unit which reimburses federal funds for county Behavioral Health services in compliance with Federal and State laws, regulations and policies. Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint experience is required. Responsibilities
Coordinate the development and implementation of program policy and problem resolution recommendations with multiple departmental, immediate, and long-range impacts. Provide consultative advice to various governmental entities, agencies, and stakeholders regarding program policy. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure proper processing of Medi-Cal Behavioral Health claims by researching, evaluating, and resolving claiming irregularities; implement policy and procedures based on new legislation; review data and develop methodologies to enable proper reporting on costs related to Behavioral Health claiming.
