What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Shape the innovation design and research approach, applying foresight to drive innovation in user expectations.
Lead design and research workstreams for innovation projects to ensure alignment with member, agent, and employee needs.
Conduct ethnographic research, usability testing, and trend analysis to uncover unmet needs and emerging opportunities.
Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions to translate complex design insights into actionable narratives.
Manage and mentor Design & Research team members, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous learning.
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree required.
10+ years of experience in design consulting or UX design.
Significant expertise in UX, interaction, or product design with a strong portfolio.
Proven ability to translate broad research and business strategies into customer‑centric solutions.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills to convey future concepts to diverse audiences.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Master’s degree in Human‑Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, or User Experience Design.
Strong background in property and casualty insurance or financial services.
Familiarity with human‑centered design, AI/automation, and digital transformation approaches.
Experience in service design and process design.
Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive and psychologically safe work environment.
