What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Shape the innovation design and research approach, anticipating future technologies and user expectations
Lead design and research workstreams to ensure human‑centered experiences for members, agents, and employees
Conduct ethnographic research, usability testing, and trend analysis to identify unmet needs and opportunities
Facilitate workshops and co‑creation sessions, translating design insights into compelling narratives for decision‑making
Manage and mentor a team, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous learning within the design department
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree required
10+ years of experience in design consulting or UX design
Significant experience in UX, interaction, or product design with a strong portfolio
Proven ability to think at a systems level and translate research into customer‑centric solutions
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Master of Science (M.S.) or Master of Arts (M.A.) in Human‑Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, or User Experience Design
Strong background in property and casualty insurance or financial services
Familiarity with human‑centered design, AI/automation, and digital transformation approaches
Service Design and Process Design expertise
Ability to create a collaborative and psychologically safe environment for team members
