What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Shape the innovation design and research approach by anticipating future technologies and user expectations
Lead design and research workstreams for innovation projects to ensure human-centered experiences
Conduct ethnographic research, usability testing, and trend analysis to identify unmet needs
Facilitate workshops and executive showcases to communicate complex design insights
Manage and mentor design and research team members, fostering a culture of creativity and inclusion
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree required
10+ years of experience in design consulting or UX design
Significant experience in UX, interaction, or product design with a strong portfolio
Proven ability to think at a systems level and translate research into customer-centric solutions
Exceptional communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Master of Science (M.S.) or Master of Arts (M.A.) in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, or User Experience Design
Strong background in property and casualty insurance or financial services
Familiarity with human-centered design, AI/automation, and digital transformation methodologies
Experience in service design and process design
Ability to create a collaborative and psychologically safe environment for team members
