The Customer Success organization is composed of three teams: pre-sales, customer success, and support. The Pre-Sales Consultant will join a team of trusted partners to our Account Executives, working closely with prospective clients through new business sales cycles to demonstrate the value of our platform and help drive new revenue. They are problem-solvers, storytellers, and product experts who thrive on helping customers make better and faster decisions. Pre-Sales Consultants combine deep product knowledge, commercial acumen, industry experience, and strong client intuition to run high-impact evaluations. This role is specific to the Financial Services vertical, engaging with decision-makers and users to uncover use cases, run tailored demos, and guide prospects to successful outcomes. They may partner with Product Management and Content teams to help determine future product developments and participate in product Betas and customer feedback loops. About the Role & What You’ll Do

As a Pre-Sales Consultant focused on Financial Services, you will work as part of the sales cycle to bridge the capabilities of our technology with the domain-specific needs and workflows of our clients. You will drive value, champion client perspectives, and help define future use cases in AlphaSense for key personas, including Asset Management, Investment Banking, Private Equity/VC, and Hedge Funds. What You Will Do Partner with GTM Teams to Drive Commercial Outcomes: Collaborate with Account Executives to run seamless product evaluations and drive new business revenue growth. Build and Curate Financial Services Use Cases: Conduct targeted discovery into clients\' unique research workflows and pain points to help them leverage AlphaSense for bespoke use cases; develop new use cases as capabilities evolve. Forge and Maintain Strong Client Relationships: Engage with investment professionals at financial institutions to understand challenges and establish credibility as a domain and product expert. Contribute to Product Development: Translate client feedback and share product and content improvements internally. Who You Are You have a proven track record of working with Financial Services investors/clients to solve complex problems and are passionate about the application of AI to the industry. You are a systems thinker with an ambition to continuously improve processes and a desire to contribute to a fast-growing, entrepreneurial team culture. What You Bring Financial Services Expertise: 2+ years’ experience in a Financial Services role, or directly supporting Financial Services clients in a fintech/SaaS organization, with exposure to workflows in at least one of: Asset Management, Investment Banking, Private Equity/VC, or Hedge Funds. Curiosity About Generative AI in Financial Services: Interest in the transformative potential of AI for the financial sector and knowledge of GenAI competitive landscape. Executive Presence & Strong Presentation Skills: Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and explain technical solutions to business audiences; comfortable with on-site workshops, whiteboard sessions, and multi-call demos. High-Impact, Ownership Mindset: Thrive on autonomy and drive workflow transformation at major financial firms. Consultative Approach: Articulate, confident client-facing professional who can distill complex issues. Team Player: Strong internal collaboration and proactive personality. Collaboration & Influence: Ability to distill client feedback to GTM, Product, and Content teams. Candidate Requirements Minimum 2 years in a high-growth fintech/SaaS firm in sales, client success, product, or a related client-facing or investment role within Financial Services. High aptitude and willingness to learn. Outstanding oral, written, and presentation skills. Attention to detail, time management, and task prioritization under pressure. Base Compensation Range: Base ranges are set based on function and level; salary ranges are shared on all job postings. Final offer amounts are determined by candidate experience and may vary.
