What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Shape the innovation design and research approach by anticipating future technologies and interaction models
Lead design and research workstreams, ensuring human‑centered experiences aligned to member, agent, and employee needs
Conduct ethnographic research, usability testing, and trend analysis to identify unmet needs and opportunities
Facilitate workshops and co‑creation sessions, translating complex insights into clear narratives for decision‑making
Manage and mentor Design & Research team members, fostering skills in UX research and design
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree required
10+ years of experience in design consulting or UX design
Significant experience in UX, interaction, or product design with a strong portfolio of innovative work
Proven ability to think at a systems level, translating broad research into actionable solutions
Exceptional communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Master of Science (M.S.) or Master of Arts (M.A.) in Human‑Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, or User Experience Design
Strong background in property and casualty insurance, financial services, or adjacent industries
Familiarity with human‑centered design, AI/automation, and digital transformation approaches
Experience in service design and process design
Active participation in shaping company culture through employee engagement and mentoring
