Description

The One Stop Shop, Franklin County, seeks a Vehicle Regulation Specialist to provide direct assistance to the general public and Department of Vehicle Regulation staff in all aspects of an advanced level verification of complex applications for vehicle licensing, collection of taxes and issuance of credentials. Summary Of Responsibilities

Provides support to One Stop Shop customers and Department of Vehicle Regulation staff by conducting advanced level verification of applications submitted for departmental credentials. Uses complex data systems such as C View, MCMIS, NAS, IDR, Tyler, IFTA Demographics, MC Portal, Motor Carrier Connect (MCC), and KAVIS. Reviews applications required by Federal and State laws for vehicle licensing, International Registration Plan (IRP) and International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA), motor carrier taxes and credentials. Issues, renews, cancels and reinstates credentials and license. Ensures compliance with reciprocal agreements. Collects and processes required fees. Provides override authority when applicable. Issues receipts for completed transactions from Motor Carrier Connect (MCC). Assists customers with completing supplements, tax filings, renewals, audit bills, penalty and interest, failure to file fees, and account access by providing guidance at customer service computers or via phone and email. Monitors walk-in workflow assignments by assessing the One Stop Kiosk traffic flow, assigns customers accordingly and ensures tickets are resolved timely. Opens and logs in to the Customer One Stop Kiosk each morning, as assigned, to allow customers to sign in for services. Continuously monitors customer traffic to ensure effective service. EDUCATION:

Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:
