Overview
Boeing, Methods Process Analyst (Entry Level or Associate) – Application via WayUp. This role is with Boeing and is part of the Industrial Engineering team within Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Location options include Everett, Renton, Seattle, or Auburn, Washington, USA. The analyst will partner with cross-functional teams from production operations, engineering, quality, supplier management, materials management, and program management to support organizational goals. Position Summary
As a member of the Methods Process Analyst organization (Industrial Engineering Job Family), you will support a production team directly integrated with the Boeing Production System. You will learn production build processes, understand function standards, stabilize the production system, implement lean methodologies, assess and meet rate readiness requirements, and improve quality through root cause analysis. Depending on impact, you may develop disruption recovery plans using resource capacity and constraint analysis to restore baseline plans while mitigating downstream impacts. Responsibilities
Participate in the analysis of current and future business environment using established guidelines. Contribute to forecast, acquisition, and utilization plans to optimize resources in support of company initiatives and program business plans. Assist in the development and maintenance of Business System factory definitions used for manufacturing planning. Participate in developing labor hour estimates for new or revised production and tooling work packages under guidance from experienced analysts. Help monitor performance against established labor hour estimates. Interact in the development of integrated tool and production master schedules. Become familiar with tool/position plan documents, tool downtimes, rate flow plans, #1 flows, and tool sequencing plans. Gain knowledge of process improvement methodologies and tools to maximize equipment and personnel efficiency and support improvement initiatives. Support development of recovery plans including data gathering, visibility development, and status monitoring against plan. Represent Production and Tooling Operations to support schedule commitments or statement of work impacts in collaboration with others. Develop, implement, maintain, and status basic integrated shop operating plans to maximize efficiency and reduce inventory while meeting cost and schedule commitments. Assist more experienced analysts in gathering and analyzing shop performance metrics to support recommended actions for Production and Tooling Management. Basic Qualifications (Required)
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business-related curriculum (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, Data Analytics, Marketing, Economics, or Math). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications
1 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and/or a production environment. Experience working in a team environment. Exposure to Lean Manufacturing with knowledge of lean principles. Exposure or application of Project Management skills. Pay and Benefits
Summary Pay Range for Entry Level (Level 1): $56,100 – $75,900 Summary Pay Range for Associate (Level 2): $66,300 – $89,700 Location and Other Details
