Base pay range $24.00/hr - $32.00/hr Position Summary... As a Meat Department Lead you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will model expertise in Meat and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations. What you'll do

Be a Team Leader: Supervises the team within the meat department to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club by communicating the goals of the department, executing company programs, adhering to policies, and advocating for the member, the associate, and the company; works with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets members’ expectations. Be an Expert: Maintains an in-depth knowledge of business on the floor, backroom operations, product updates, and product specifications; ensures the meat department meets company and regulatory standards for quality, inventory, production equipment usage, safety, sanitation, and compliance; shares knowledge and prioritizes training for the team to understand item specifications and use approved equipment for high‑volume products; engages with members to help them choose the right protein. Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, product quality, and adoption of new tools. Be an Owner: Drives business results with a focus on operational excellence; maintains a neat, clean, and safe work area; uses digital tools for forecasting, planning, and production; facilitates product inventory and ordering; ensures appropriate staffing levels and audit/compliance standards; ensures meat and seafood equipment and storage systems are in working order and merchandise is displayed per layout plans. Be a Talent Ambassador: Teaches and trains the team by identifying training needs and developing necessary skills to deliver high-quality products; encourages career growth and sources new talent; develops processes to meet business needs through collaboration and data-driven analysis; promotes compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethics; supports Open Door Policy and ethics issue resolution. Leads and participates in teams: Determines customer needs and business priorities; coordinates and executes work assignments; provides advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality; models adaptability to change and new challenges. The hourly wage range for this position is $24.00 to $32.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in certain circumstances, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Minimum Qualifications

6 months experience in a meat production department or 6 months experience supervising a team. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications

Meat processing experience (boneless and bone-in products); supervising associates; Food Handler Certification (Food Safety). Primary Location
