As a Meat Department Lead you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will model expertise in Meat and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations. What you’ll do
Lead the meat department team to deliver on the business plan and communicate department goals while adhering to policies and ensuring a positive member experience. Maintain in-depth knowledge of department operations, product updates, and specifications to meet quality, inventory, safety, sanitation, and compliance standards; prioritize training for the team. Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates; use handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality decisions. Drive operational excellence by ensuring a neat, clean, and safe work area; manage forecasting, planning, production, inventory, and ordering; ensure appropriate staffing and compliance with audit standards. Develop and train team members, identify training needs, and support career growth; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners to meet business needs and improve continuously. Promote compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethics; model integrity and encourage open communication and problem solving. Foster a respectful and inclusive work environment, encouraging teamwork, strong relationships, and positive communication. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications 6 months of experience in a meat production department or 6 months of experience supervising a team. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Meat processing experience (boneless and bone-in products); Supervising Associates; Food Handler Certification (Food Safety). Benefits and other information
