Overview
(USA) Asset Protection Associate - All DC/FC S1 at Sam's Club Base pay range: $22.00/hr - $25.00/hr. Your actual pay will be based on skills and experience. Responsibilities
Asset protection and security: Monitor and maintain access control equipment; support facility security staff; conduct compliance, safety, and food safety audits; review audit reports; address health and safety issues within the assigned scope; summon emergency services as necessary. Environmental health and safety: Possess knowledge of OSHA guidelines; implement environmental policies; promote environmental issues within the organization; participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses as directed. Operational excellence and process improvement: Understand key processes in the assigned area; identify gaps; support process updates and changes; participate in investigations and root cause analysis; comply with SOPs and One Best Way practices. Data and training: Gather and interpret data; create reports; support training initiatives; maintain repositories of benchmarks and best practices for instructors and facilitators. Stakeholder and communication: Identify and engage stakeholders; communicate clearly; influence team members and business partners; foster professional networks. Administrative and compliance: Maintain emergency contact directories; ensure records are obtained and maintained; manage worker’s compensation issues in collaboration with relevant parties. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: 6 months of experience as a Walmart associate OR 1 year of work experience or coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, compliance, or security-related field (e.g., Military, Public Safety, Criminal Justice). Preferred qualifications: Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SharePoint and OneDrive; related coursework or work experience in the fields above. Benefits
