Position overview

Retail Associate Managers (RAM) work as part of a Retail Team to bring the brand to life. RAMs are brand ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, build meaningful connections with customers, and develop expertise in uncovering customer needs to educate, demonstrate, and recommend device and service solutions. This role is a learning role; you will work with your team to build required skills and assist the Retail Store Manager in daily operational duties.

What you’ll do in your role

  • Provide a best-in-class customer experience and build loyalty by helping customers continue their shopping journey across online, Customer Care, and in-store interactions.
  • Explore individual needs and provide hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology in-store.
  • Engage in side-by-side selling to uncover personalized solutions, including accessories and emerging IoT devices.
  • Guide customers through their purchasing experience with thoughtful questions, informative answers, and expertise.
  • Assist the Retail Store Manager with daily operations and coaching.

Digital tools and training

  • Learn to use digital tools to enhance interactions and onboarding, demonstrating coverage in the customer’s neighborhood and the benefits of our LTE network.
  • Explain why plans and services help customers stay connected and achieve more.
  • Understand device and account inspection, review, and troubleshooting processes.
  • Complete training on in-store experience, new skills, processes, and systems.

Relationships and cross-channel collaboration

  • Build relationships with employees across channels to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Identify and hand off small business leads.
  • Develop strong peer relationships and accountability for the company’s success.
  • Foster a positive, upbeat team environment while delivering first-class customer service.

The ideal candidate will bring

  • Leadership and a competitive drive in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Ability to lead a team, share best practices, and resolve customer issues.
  • Operational, financial, and performance management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with customers and team members.
  • Prior wireless sales experience.
