Full Stack Engineering Senior Manager
at Crowe. The role is part of our AI Transformation team, where you will design and build intelligent workflow orchestration and ERP automation solutions powered by generative AI and machine learning.

About the Team The AI Transformation team builds on Crowe’s established AI foundation, combining Generative AI, ML, and software engineering to empower clients to transform their business models. You will work with developers, product stakeholders and project managers in a distributed, trust‑based culture that offers unlimited PTO and flexible remote work.
Job Responsibilities
Build backend services and APIs that power autonomous and semi‑autonomous workflows.
Lead the architecture, design and full‑stack development of scalable, responsive web applications using React/Angular, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, MUI or Tailwind integrated with secure backend systems.
Use agentic frameworks (LangChain, Semantic Kernel, etc.) to coordinate multi‑step logic, tool usage and human‑review workflows.
Integrate with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, D365, etc.), handling authentication, schema mapping, rate limits and retries.
Design and optimize workflows for asynchronous processing, streaming updates and long‑running tasks with distributed job queues.
Support front‑end engineers by designing endpoints and contributing UI components in React/TypeScript.
Contribute to system observability: logs, traces, metrics and monitoring.
Design and manage efficient database schemas in SQL and NoSQL databases.
Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative, growth‑oriented team.
Required Skills
10+ years in full‑stack or backend‑focused software engineering.
Proficiency in Python.
Hands‑on experience with agentic AI frameworks in production.
Deep experience integrating with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP or Dynamics 365, including REST/SOAP APIs and schema mapping.
Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience deploying and maintaining LLM‑integrated systems, including prompt engineering, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI or Anthropic API integrations, toolchains and fallback strategies.
Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant) and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG).
Experience writing tests for backend services and API layers.
Capability in designing for resilience and observability in distributed systems.
Familiarity with Dockerized deployment environments and CI‑integrated release pipelines.
Readiness to travel domestically ≈ 80 % of the time.
Experience leading end‑to‑end engagement, program delivery and governance, managing cross‑functional teams and vendors, and engaging C‑level stakeholders.
Experience scaling service offerings, driving go‑to‑market strategies and improving revenue and margin through talent development and delivery excellence.
Experience building and leading high‑performing capability teams, recruiting top talent, mentoring, conducting evaluations and optimizing resource allocation.
Preferred Skills
Passion for enterprise automation and real‑world AI application.
Demonstrated experience building agent workflows or orchestration engines.
Pragmatic problem‑solver that thrives in highly iterative environments.
Relevant certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Developer Associate, or similar).
Extensive experience with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing strategies and infrastructure‑as‑code.
Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies and tools.
Passion for knowledge‑sharing and mentoring through internal presentations, documentation and a collaborative team culture.
